Forestry mulching, grading, and site prep for landowners and builders within 90 miles of Canton. We own the machines, so most jobs are one call instead of three.
What we do
Six services, one crew, one mobilization. Every job starts with a walkthrough and a written scope so you know what you are paying for before we start.
Forestry mulching
Clearing underbrush and small trees in place, leaving a mulch layer that controls erosion and slows regrowth. No burn piles, no hauling.
Typical: 1–10 acresLand grading and site prep
Shaping ground for drainage, building pads, driveways, and pasture. Done before the concrete truck shows up, not after.
Typical: pads and drivesStump removal
Grinding or full extraction so ground can be graded, mowed, or built on without surprises six inches down.
Typical: 1–50 stumpsBrush hogging
Cutting heavy grass and brush on acreage, easements, and unmaintained lots. One-time cleanup or on a schedule.
Typical: 2+ acresTrenching
Utility, water, and drainage lines. Dug to depth, backfilled, and graded back so the yard does not settle into a scar.

How a job runs
Most people calling about land work have never hired for it before. Here is exactly what happens.
You call or send photos
Tell us the acreage and what you want the ground to do afterward. We can rule out a bad fit on the phone in five minutes.
We walk the property
On site, at no cost. We check access, slope, drainage, and what is actually under the brush.
You get a written scope
What we will do, what we will not, and the price. Written down, so nothing is a surprise later.
We schedule around weather
Land work is weather-dependent. You get a window, and a call if it moves.
We finish and walk it with you
Final walkthrough before we pull the machines off. If something is not right, we fix it then.

Questions we get
How much does forestry mulching cost per acre in Georgia?
Most jobs land between $1,200 and $3,500 per acre. The spread comes down to how thick the growth is, how big the trees are, and whether the machine can get to it. Light underbrush on flat, accessible ground sits at the bottom of that range. Heavy growth with trees over eight inches, steep slope, or a long walk from the road sits at the top. We give a firm number after walking the property.
What is the difference between mulching and traditional clearing?
Mulching grinds vegetation in place and leaves it on the ground as a mulch layer. Traditional clearing pushes material into piles that then get burned or hauled off. Mulching is faster, costs less because there is no haul-off, and the mulch layer holds soil and slows regrowth. Traditional clearing makes more sense when you need bare dirt for construction.
How long does a job take?
A typical residential mulching job of two to five acres runs one to three days. Grading a building pad is usually a day or two. Trenching depends on length and what is in the ground. We give you a window with the written scope.
Do you work outside of Cherokee County?
Yes. We run jobs across roughly 90 miles from Canton, which covers Cherokee, Pickens, Bartow, Forsyth, Dawson, Gilmer, and north Fulton counties, and reaches into the metro. If you are near the edge of that, call and ask.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry general liability and can send a certificate of insurance before work starts. Builders and property managers usually want one on file, and we are set up for that.
What do I need to do before you arrive?
Mark anything you want left alone, and flag any known utilities, septic lines, or wells. We call 811 for public utility locates, but private lines on your property are not in that system and only you know where they are.
Tell us what the ground needs to do.
Walkthroughs are free and we will tell you honestly if the job needs a different contractor.
