GLW GEORGIA LAND WORKS

Service

Brush hogging

Cutting heavy grass and brush on acreage, easements and unmaintained lots.

Right-of-way corridor cut clean between the tree lines

What the work is

  • A heavy rotary cutter behind a track machine, not a lawn mower.
  • Handles growth a finish mower would choke on.
  • One-time cleanup, or on a schedule through the season.

When it is the right call

  • Pasture and hay ground.
  • Utility and pipeline right-of-way.
  • Vacant commercial lots that have to stay presentable.
  • Trails and fence lines.

When it is not

  • Manicured lawn. Wrong machine, wrong finish.
  • Ground with hidden debris until somebody has walked it.

Questions we get

How often does it need doing?

Most acreage in north Georgia wants two or three cuts through the growing season. Right-of-way is often once or twice a year.

How tall is too tall?

Rarely an issue. If it is thick enough that a cutter will not handle it, mulching is the answer instead.

Walkthroughs are free and we will tell you honestly if the job needs a different contractor.
