Stump removal and grinding
So the ground can be graded, mowed or built on without surprises six inches down.
What the work is
- Grinding the stump and the flare below grade.
- Full extraction where something is going on top of it.
- Backfilling the hole so the ground is level again.
When it is the right call
- After a tree service has taken the trunk.
- Clearing a footprint to build on.
- Stumps that keep catching the mower deck.
When it is not
- Stumps inside the drip line of something you want to keep.
- Anything sitting over a septic field or a utility until it is located.
Questions we get
Grinding or full removal?
Grinding is cheaper and fine for mowing and seeding. Full removal is for anywhere a foundation, a drive or a pool is going.
What happens to the grindings?
They can stay as backfill, or we can haul them off. Say which you want.
